How we won CodeClash 2.0

Nobody likes calling customer service. You wait on hold, explain the problem to three different people, and hang up with nothing. At CodeClash 2.0 we asked a simple question: what if you never had to make that call again?

Over 4,700 people in more than 1,200 teams came to Google's Gurugram office for the final. I led Team OnCall Engineers in the OmniDimension track, and we had to build something that worked.

What we built

ComplaintBuddy AI takes your complaint in writing, then an AI agent phones the company for you. It explains the problem clearly, handles the back and forth with the support rep, and keeps trying until you get a refund or a replacement. While it works, you watch live updates instead of hold music.
